Dilek is excited to be joining the Grade 1 teaching team at The Mabin School this fall. Becoming a teacher has taken Dilek on many different paths both at home in Toronto and internationally. She earned her teaching qualifications while studying in London, England, and has even taught in her ancestral country, Cyprus. In recent years, Dilek has been learning and laughing alongside her students as a preschool teacher in Toronto.

In her spare time, Dilek can be found with her nose in a book, or in the kitchen baking and cooking away. She very proudly cheers on her Toronto sports teams and is a dedicated Wolf Cub leader in her neighbourhood Scout Canada group.
